AKSON was founded in 1991 and has been a manufacturer of injection and blow molds since the beginning of its operations.

 

In 2003 we decided to narrow down our specialization to the packaging industry, in particular becoming a supplier of tools for the following technologies:

 

– Injection Moulds for caps, lids, flip top and disc top closures, jars,

– Extrusion Blow Moulds for bottles, jerrycans (stackable up to 30L), containers,

– Injection Stretch Blow Moulding for PET bottles,

– Injection Blow Moulds for PE bottles.

 

In 2001, we started injection moulding as a manufacturer of caps for glass perfume bottles.

 

Today, our standard products portfolio includes a range of canister caps (DIN 38, DIN 51, DIN 61), caps for jars (38/400, 45/400), flip top caps (20/410, 24/410, 28/410) and many others.

 

In addition to our standard closures, we also manufacture plastic parts using moulds provided by our customers, including parts assembly if required.

 

In 2022, we expanded our plastics processing capabilities with a cleanroom production in ISO 8 and ISO 7 classes. The certificates we obtained as well as procedures we implemented allow us to manufacture plastic parts for the pharmaceutical and medical industries.

 

“Much more than jus tools for plastics processing” is our motto, we offer not only moulds, but also provide solutions at all stages of project development:

 

– we help our customers to determine guidelines for packaging design,

 

– we develop idea of packaging design, 

 

– we prepare 3D design and optimize it, e.g, basing on simulations of injection moulding process,

 

– we create final 3D and 2D documentation of articles and specify technical requirements that a packaging should meet,

 

– we design and manufacture moulds,

 

– we test  injection moulds at our sampling injection moulding machine,

 

– we participate in the process of implementing moulds into production, for injection moulds we provide technological parameters of the injection moulding process,

 

– we can offer production by injection moulding in our plastics processing department.
